Update:Not all installs will go as planned. However, what really matters is how Air Systems of Daytona handled the situation. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and revise my statement and acknowledge they didn't lie to me. We just had some miscommunication about the install. However, they went out of their way and resolved the issue by adding a 5 inch filter box for me - covered by the original quote. Beyond thay, they installed a new 5" filter - which they did not have to do. These are good people to work with!Original post:Had to purchase a new HVAC system. Was told in the quote that I could reuse my existing filter, which was a 5 inch thick filter style. When the technician arrived, they cut out the filter cabinet and installed a 1 inch filter cabinet. Then proceeded to LIE to me and say that the 5 inch cabinet was permanently attached to the old air handler. What made it worse, was then they suggested that I purchase a new filter box so that they could come back and charge me additional cost to install it. This was not an inexpensive system that I purchased. They screwed up, they should fix it and make it right, not expect me to go out and buy a new filter box on my own and then pay them to fix their own mistake for more money.Does the system work? Yes. But that is the bare minimum you expect from purchasing a new system.

Chris is the best !

Technician Dan Wells quickly located refrigerant leaks at both coils in our system. Air Systems ordered and received replacement coils in just a few days. Dan returned with the new parts and replaced both coils in only 5 hours. Air Systems has been our HVAC system service provider for eight years and has consistently demonstrated that they are a reliable and professional HVAC contractor.

My ac went out. They had a tech over first thing in the morning. Awesome, caring, quick and efficient. I’m very grateful.

Chris was my tech today. He ended fixing what ServAir damaged. ServAir was recommended by a neighbor. Thats why I called them originally. Just moved here, not knowing any reputable company. After the fiasco with ServAir, I called another neighbor and got Air Systems of Daytona number. Chris trouble shooted everything in my current system and found that the ServAir Tech crossed some wiring and blew out by Thermastat. I called them the next day when my system would not go on and they made the excuse that my system failed and needed to be replaced. I said to them, "thats funny," since he system was working perfectly before they come to do the service checkup. When it is time to replace my system, no shopping around. Air Systems has my business!!!!!

Props to Daytona Air Systems for their excellent job communicating the repair process and their ability to be flexible in service scheduling times.We needed a repair for a coolant leak. The issue was diagnosed, quoted, and repaired all in two visits.As younger homeowners, my husband and I have had multiple experiences with repair service costs of all kinds coming in super high, or technicians trying to upsell us on things we don't need. Thankfully, this was NOT the case with Daytona Air Systems. I felt their pricing was very reasonable and honest, and it seemed to me that Chris was well-versed in this type of repair.Thank you to Chris + Colleen for going above and beyond to help us take good care of our system.I would 100% use this company again and highly recommend them.
